The original

Every costume below started from this one photo

Same face, same pink top, same background, twelve times over. That is the whole trick — your bone structure, expression and pose carry through, so the person in the result is still recognisably you.

This face is synthetic, from our own test set. We do not illustrate this page with a customer’s photo, and we do not keep yours.

This is a costume, not protection

Your costume is a brand new image. It does nothing to the photo you uploaded — that one is still on your phone, still on whatever account you posted it to, and still searchable by engines like PimEyes and FaceCheck ID.

If that is what you actually came here worried about, the free scan estimates how usable your real photo is to facial recognition. That is the part of this site that does something about it.

Changing your LinkedIn profile photo this season? That headshot is public by default and one of the most reliably indexed photographs of your face anywhere. Protect the version you post before you post it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Whose photo can I use?

Only your own. Do not upload a photo of anyone else — a friend, a partner, a coworker, a child, or a public figure — even as a joke. Custom costumes ask you to confirm the photo is of you, and we suspend accounts that break this rule.

Can I type my own costume?

Yes. Choose “Your own idea” and describe the costume in a few words, like “a pirate captain” or “a jellyfish”. Every typed costume is checked before anything is made, and we will not make: named characters from films, shows, games or brands (describe the look instead); real people; anything sexual or revealing; real injury or gore; costumes that humiliate or degrade the person; hate symbols or caricatures; or anything involving a child. A costume we cannot make costs you nothing.

How much does a Halloween costume cost?

A costume is $0.99, or five for $2.99, and you need a Google sign-in. That buys full-resolution images with no watermark, yours to use anywhere. A costume that fails to generate costs nothing — your credit stays until an image is actually delivered.

Do you store the photo I upload?

No. The photo is read in memory to generate your costume and then discarded. It is never written to storage, never attached to an account, and no one at CloakBioGuard sees it. If you type your own costume, we keep the words you typed — never the photo, and never the image we made — for 90 days, so we can investigate misuse.

Does a generated costume hide me from facial recognition?

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. A generated image is a new picture, not protection for the original. The photo you uploaded is still on your phone and still searchable by face-search engines. If that is what you are worried about, run the free scan instead.

What photo works best?

A clear, well-lit photo where your face is unobstructed. The generator keeps your background, clothing and pose, so a full-body shot transforms more of the frame than a tight headshot does.

Can I use my costume anywhere I like?

Yes, within the rules above. Post it, print it or send it to whoever you want — it comes at full resolution with no watermark. Do not use it to impersonate, harass or embarrass anyone.
